Wedding Day Signage: chalkboards, windows, & calligraphy!

We are loving the trend of signage thoughtfully incorporated into your ceremony and reception. We think a wedding design can be elevated by just adding some strategically placed signage that is both fun and functional. As more and more people are opting for non-traditional ceremonies and venues, all types of signage is being imagined. One of my favorite ways to incorporate signage into your ceremony is by a hand-lettered program sign. This sign is usually placed at the top of the aisle and lets your guests know about the important people in the ceremony without the extra printing costs.

As backyard weddings are becoming more popular and you are not able to stock the bar with every beer, wine, and mixer under the sun, it is a good idea to have a drink menu to save your guests some time in line.

Escort card displays are getting the chalkboard treatment and it is one of our favorite trends! Save room and make a display that your guests will talk about for months to come. Check out this amazing escort card display designed by our friend Mary Kate Moon for a spring wedding at the Water Witch Club using our large vintage school chalkboard.

We love seeing the unique and creative ways brides and grooms incorporate our inventory of chalkboards, windows and mirrors into their wedding day! Here are some of our favorites including a custom instagram sign, directional signs, a selfie station and a super cool cake backdrop. We can’t wait to hear what you have in mind! We love to make wedding signage dreams come true!
